Health Watch are carrying out a survey of the barriers those who are deaf or hard of hearing are facing to gain a national picture on individuals’ experiences of accessing GP and other HHS services in their local area.
In summary, the overarching aims of the project are to understand the barriers for deaf and hard of hearing to access GP services:
· How do they access appointments
· Issues with access to health professionals via video or telephone calls
· Access to other methods of communication
· Access to interpreters
