A common purpose for deafness and hearing loss
In 2014, our members told us a statement summing up what they are all working towards would be useful.
We asked them what they thought should be in the statement. We began by surveying everyone. We followed that with some events to discuss what we had learned from responses to the survey.
In March 2015 we published the statement of common purpose for the deafness and hearing loss sector. It has been signed by almost 100 organisations and individuals.
Whilst we have supported the process, support for the statement is not limited to our members. We hope everyone working on deafness and hearing loss will join us in this work.
