In December 2020 we carried out an extensive survey of the BT-operated Relay UK service. The survey findings revealed a lot of issues. Our survey showed that 70% of participants experienced problems with contacting banks, medical professionals and government agencies, with some large companies refusing to accept relay calls.

If you have experienced any problems with any of the above communications issues, we encourage you to report the details to us. We will provide support and try to get the organisation concerned to respond properly in future. If you agree, we will report the matter to the relevant regulator. Regulators can only follow up on specific instances, not general complaints. We therefore need specific details about your complaint.
